NFC

What Are They?

Near Field Communication (NFC) is a two-way wireless communication technology. It allows the transfer of data between two devices with a ‘tap’ action, such as a mobile phone and NFC tag.

NFC tags, which can be embedded in stickers, fobs or wristbands, contain small microchips with little aerials that can store a small amount of information for transfer to another NFC device, such as a mobile phone. NFC technology works at a close distance and is a perfect for customer interaction. Marketing with NFC is a great technology to connect with audiences and instantly engage them with a simple tap. Synergem handles all steps of NFC projects including sourcing, encoding, printing, tracking and online analytics.
