What is StickyDrive?
StickyDrive is a customized software application imbedded within a USBdrive that allows you to advertise your company, products, brand, andproprietary information. What separates StickyDrive from other USBdrives is it’s interactivity. Unlike
standard USB drives that have alimited shelf life, in the sense that once materials are installed onthe drives and distributed, there is no way of updating the informationwithout providing new drives. All files that are sent downstream to StickyDrive USB’s are sent via asecure FTP connection. They are basically wrapped with multiple layersof security. If required, files can also be encrypted so that the enduser can only get at them with a password. Another option is to put alink from the StickyDrive USB to your intranet site. Since it’s anintranet site, the end-user will have to login using a unique name andpassword before accessing the files. In short StickyDrive has severalmethods for providing security of your data.
Since there is constant communication between the end-user drives andStickyDrive’s Central Server, valuable reporting information isavailable to you the customer. Receive tracking reports that deliverdata on the frequency and types of use, including but not limited to;the number of times the drive is used, documents are launched from thedrive, website click-through activity, etc. By understanding the habitsof your audience modifications can be made to future updates thatreflect user’s interests.
